This was shot from the top of a vehicle, pulled over on the side of Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. I had to get higher to get the perfect shot of the aspens in the foreground and the mountains in the background, so I had to climb on top of our vehicle. Taken on October 2nd, 2011.

This is my most favorite landscape that I’ve ever taken. The fall aspens, the mountains, and the beautiful blue sunrise made for a beautiful scene.
